2nd April 2005 IS the MOST wonderful day of my life. It was the day my little boy was borned. After 13hours of labor pain, my poor little baby was distressed & had "poo-poo" inside my tummy. My gynae advised that I would need a C-section to deliver the baby safely. About 15 mins later, I was pushed into the operation room. I was both confused & worried about the entire thing as it was afterall my first operation. Uncontrollably, I sobbed like a little girl inside the ops room at the thought of being "OPENED-UP". I only felt better when my hubby came into the ops room & held my hand supportively.

"AAAAAAAaaaaAA!!!" Tears dropped down from the corners of my eyes when I heard Javier's 1ST cry! My feelings was beyond explanation. His cry was like an official declaration that I had entered MOTHERHOOD! Naturally, I was very happy to hear this wonderful sound. I could not wait to meet him after a long 40weeks! "Is he normal? Is he healthy?"... I kept wondering with fear. My adrenaline continued to pump hard during this "long" 10mins. Finally, I SAW him!

As the nurse carried him to me, I was told that he was a normal & healthy baby. Everything was fine and I felt a great sense of relieve. My heart was filled with happiness & my tears fell uncontrollably again as I saw his little red round face. A great deal of responsibility came to me suddenly. I am responsible for this little reddy face for the next 21 years! "Motherhood Begins NOW!"

Javier was very chubby, "bloated" & had a lot of hair unlike typical newborns-who were normally bald & "shivered looking". At first sight, I thought he looked like Daddy. And well, Javier was big too for a pettie Asian lady like me. Weighing 8.36lbs & 21 inches at birth, he looked like a full-month old baby. Yup, this was the reason that he was unable to move down the birth canal. He was Too BIG for a pettie 1.53m frame like me!

I invited my little Irving friends home, but I felt grumpy that day

Opps! Did u notice the bloat of saliva on my bodysuit ... hehe. Dr . Z told Mummy that I am in the teething stage & will salivate alot. I'm not gross, it's just the way a 4 month old should be.
